Text Box: Our 10:15 am Sunday worship is the highlight of our weekly walk with our Heavenly Father as well as a chance for members of the body to fellowship with each other. 
Our service at Family of Faith blends a liturgical foundation with contemporary praise music and other charismatic elements. This combination allows all members to connect to the Lord in ways they are most comfortable and accustomed. Here is an overview of our service activities:

Overview

Opening

One of our elders opens the service with prayer followed by the singing of our opening hymn.

Call to Worship

This responsive reading a remembrance of our baptism in which God claimed us in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Confession

After being given a verse for silence and reflection, we consider our sins and ask God for forgiveness.

Sharing God's Peace

Feeling a sense of joy and release following confession, our congregation greets one another in the Peace of Christ. A time of testimony and praise reports follows.

Bible Lesson

A set of verses is read from the Old and New Testament.

Children’s Sermon

Children are provided a verse or illustration that they can remember during their lives.

Offering

We have the privilege to give back to God a portion of the blessing that he has bestowed upon us.

Gospel Lesson

A word from a Gospel sets up the topic of the sermon.

Sermon

The pastor delivers a message about how we as Christians can overcome this world and live a life that aligns with God’s will.

PrayerAfter the sermon the congregation offers prayers of intercession. This is followed by the Lord's prayer.

Communion

Breaking of the body Christ and drinking of the blood are the completion of our forgiveness and serve as an eternal sacrifice the Jesus made for us.

Closing

The leader of the service delivers the blessing and the congregation joins together for the closing hymn.
